Pictures say it best. Here are pictures of my new xbox 360 hard-drive. The mysterious bits on the chrome outer layer are glue and paper-towel fragments. The sticky residue was left by the “protective tape” adhered to the chrome. You can see the solvent chosen to remove it but it was largely ineffective and I didn’t have any lighter fluid.
If we needed any further proof that microsoft hates us and doesn’t want us to buy (or have access to) their products, this is it. Now my new Xbox is guaranteed to attract high-calibre dust-bunnies and have the extra edge to collect them!
