We’re all Heroes

I’m going to talk a bit about my favorite new television show this season. But first, I have to mention this weekend’s fantastic episode of Battlestar Galactica. If the series were to end right now, I would be satisfied, albeit frustrated. This weekend’s final episode in the 4 part series that was setup at the end of last season was so epic, so spectactular, … I kind of lost my mind.

I won’t say anymore about it here, not wanting to drop spoilers for anyone. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it right now. Get it done.

So, my favorite new television show this season is the impressive super hero story called “Heroes” on NBC. The pacing has been slow so far, small parcels of information being delivered every week about the 5 or 6 main characters the show is focussing on, but it is picking up. It’s covering a lot of similar ground to The X-men and feels similar in some ways to Unbreakable. Don’t let that stop you from watching it though, if that movie wasn’t to your liking. If you like comic books, (or liked them as a kid and don’t feel stupid about it now) give it a try. Tonight’s episode should be a good one.

OMG! BSG just keeps getting better, I love this show. Trouble is, I upgraded my DVR this week and now I’ve lost ep. 2 and am waiting to watch Exodus 1 and 2. I’m on my way to finding it online so I can try and download it. Wish me luck.

Good luck indeed! Does that mean you missed this weekend’s epic conclusion to Exodus? If so, you’ve got some powerful watchin’ ahead of you.

Yes!! I’ve been waiting for stupid ep. 2 before I begin on Exodus. I need to get my TV on this week. The upside is I get a solid 3 hours of BSG all at once this way.

well that is a truly powerful thing.

Things you will need during your Exodus Marathon:

1) Tissue
2) Towels
3) a Sponge
