I think I said in the post that this was the first bond film I was actually interested in seeing in recent memory. I just watched Daniel Craig’s other movie last night, “Layer Cake” and it’s not bad. Your standard British crime drama. Casino Royale is definitely rawer than any previous Bond movie. Go see it!

I’ve been so ho-hum about Bond that I haven’t seen a Bond movie in over a decade and I’m a huge Pierce Brosnan fan, but your review actually really makes me want to go see this one! Sounds like “Bond becomes Rambo” or something, which is right up my alley

I’m pretty seriously looking forward to seeing it and I really didn’t care for much of the rest of the Bond franchise. Always found it a little too goofy, though admittedly I haven’t watched all the movies.
