From Ars Technica: Canadian Privacy Commissioner: Just say no to intrusive DRM.
It’s rare, but once in awhile, you hear something come out of the canadian government that actually makes sense. It’s very nice to see that our privacy commissioner has some excellent people guiding her through the current morass of copyright crap that’s being forced down our throats by all the big media heavy hitters.
Way to go, Privacy Commish! Now, about that Facebook…

I am Boolean (aka Rob Campbell). I recently moved back to Moncton, NB, Canada and work for an open source software company as a hacker. In my spare time, I play Xbox, read, watch video and when inspired, dabble with music or shoot pictures. Lately, I’ve been trying to lower my golf handicap.
The name “boolean” is my gaming nick, picked under pressure during the heady days of the original Unreal Tournament. Attempts to explain this call-sign, frequently mispronounced when read as “BOO-LEEN”, often results in hilarious confusion and calls of, “nerd!”
