I play from the HDD and the get an audio issue which sounds like a short or blown speaker you’d hear on your car stereo. All the audio plays fine (though I disable the back ground music in favor of only car sounds) it’s only this glitch while playing the game. At times it’s annoying but I just get used to it, since I don’t want to over work my disk drive running it from the CD.

It really works. If you find a new way to solve the problem without uninstalling from hard drive, please report it.

only fix is to delete the game from your harddrive in the dashboard and put up with the loud DVD and slow loads.

i have the same problem. installed the game on hd and the audio have many problem with the motor sound…

nothing to resolve?

I’m experiencing the same issue on the elite console i got at christmas! very weird issue! it only appears to occur when there are more than 1 AI car on the track with you during a race, and the problem becomes worse if you have high weather effects on. Shame they havn’t fixed this as its a fantastic game! guess its time to move on to forza 3

I am very disappointed about this audio glitch for such an outstanding game. I won’t be holding my breath for a patch either. Thanks for the info.
